Finanslaget is a Borås-based finance company within Edge & Gain AB. Since 2013, the company has helped businesses grow through good financing solutions and long-term partnerships. The operations are characterized by modern system development, high service levels, and business-oriented relationships – where technology, people, and business meet.

The company consists of about 25 employees and has its office in Borås. Finanslaget is in a continued growth phase and is therefore looking for more people who want to help develop the business, relationships, and working methods moving forward.

In the role of credit officer, you are business-oriented and combine credit preparation and analysis in dialogue with customers and partners, along with close internal collaboration within the company.

Credit granting here is not just about numbers and risk, but about building trust, creating long-term relationships, and guiding the partner in the business. The role suits you if you enjoy analyzing and assessing risk, drawing well-founded conclusions while also considering soft values that are not always evident from a financial statement.

The pace of work can vary, and the role requires confidence in communicating both positive and negative news in a professional and trustworthy manner. The ability to explain a decision – even a no – in a respectful, clear, and businesslike way is an important part of how stable and long-term partnerships are built.

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in finance and business relationships. As a person, you are curious and eager to learn new things. You have a natural sense of service and the ability to communicate both positive and negative messages in a trustworthy manner. You are unpretentious, engaged, and thrive in a business-oriented role. You should have strong analytical skills and be able to draw well-founded conclusions while also weighing in soft values that are not always visible in numbers. Personal suitability is a central part of this recruitment process. Previous experience is advantageous, but we welcome anyone who sees the position as an opportunity to contribute and grow to submit their application.

It is meritorious if you have the ability to read and understand income statements and balance sheets, as well as experience in simpler financial analysis work, for example in finance, credit, or a related field. The starting point is what you can and what you want, which means that formal titles or backgrounds are not decisive. Experience in working structured and carefully in analysis and decision-making is an advantage.
